Heritage Research Clothing Introduces Military Style Chinos

Cult classics are coming back into fashion. One of the most popular classics that have been reintroduced into the market by renowned brands like heritage research clothing are military inspired chinos.

These chinos are characterized by their flat fronts and take inspiration from the 1936 pattern that was developed for the officer’s pants. These pants were sported by the US air Corps as part of their uniform. Some of the design elements that have been retained in the contemporary version of this classic military pant include the front jet coin pockets, military issue lockable Swiss RiRi zip, roomy seat and horn button adjusters. All these features do not only accentuate the chinos but they also provide the wearer with utmost comfort and full-fledged functionality.

However in order to appeal to the modern masses certain elements of these classic pants have been modified. This includes the change in seam as the latest version has a flash in-line seem whereas the original one had a cutaway seam.

A number of other brands have also started experimenting with folk clothing with the aim to reintroduce them into the market. The idea is to take inspiration from these traditional designs and reintroduce them into the market adding a touch of contemporary aesthetics. This produces a very versatile and distinctively different attire which is something that appeals to the contemporary masses. From jeans and pants to shirts and jackets you will be able to find all kinds of old school classics being reintroduced by some of the most popular fashion brands today.
